2. Visiting the website

Our site is hosted with ALL-INKL.COM. When pages are requested, the web server processes technically necessary connection data. Depending on the server configuration, this can include the IP address, access date and time, requested file, response status, transferred data volume, referring page, and browser or operating-system information. This supports the delivery, security and fault-free operation of the site under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests). Connections to the site use HTTPS/TLS.

Server access data are retained for the time necessary for technical operation, error analysis and protection against misuse, then deleted. Where a security incident requires further investigation, relevant records may be retained for longer. The server-side storage and deletion processes are handled by the hosting provider.

3. Cookies, analytics and embedded players

The website does not use visitor accounts, advertising trackers, analytics scripts, marketing cookies or embedded third-party music players. Music and video links open the artist's chosen platform only when you click them.

4. Emails and artist enquiries

If you contact us by email, we process the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, message, music links and attachments, to answer your enquiry or discuss participation. Depending on the subject, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps requested before an agreement) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding).

Correspondence is kept only as long as necessary for the enquiry, the relevant collaboration or any legal retention obligations. Email delivery and mailbox handling involve the respective email providers.

5. Artist profiles and editorial material

With an artist's agreement, we publish selected artist names, biographies, release links and approved images or artwork. Artists review their profile before it goes online. The purpose is to introduce their work and link listeners to official artist channels. Processing may rely on the participation arrangement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), legitimate editorial interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) or consent where that is the applicable basis (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Approved content for the website, including artist names, texts and images, is maintained in a private source repository on GitHub and deployed to our web host. GitHub may process this material outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. According to GitHub's privacy information, the provider uses recognised transfer mechanisms including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Simply viewing the website does not send visitor analytics to GitHub. Requests to correct or remove artist material can be directed to us using the contact address above.

6. Links to external services

When you follow a link to YouTube, Bandcamp, Spotify, Instagram, an artist's own website or another platform, that destination processes information under its own privacy policy. Simply viewing Signal to Voice does not load a third-party music player.

7. Your privacy rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data; you may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and request data portability where applicable.
